AT&T Park - Home of the San Francisco Giants

Last Sunday I went to AT&T Park with my friends and other students from dormitory UNIT2. AT&T Park is a baseball park for Major League Baseball, which located at the west side of the San Francisco Bay. It is the home of the San Francisco Giants, the World Series champions of 2010.

The tickets we bought costed us 10 bucks each, which were affordable for us. But due to the cheap ticket, we had to sit at a very high platform. Although the high platform made us hard to see the players and the ball, it gave us a wonderful view of the bay. The ball game was the Giants against the Astros. During the game, the fans shouted and screamed to support the Giants. The atmosphere was great and the game was exciting. The Giants won the game with the final score 3:2.

The foods and drinks is quite expensive at the park. For example, a bottle of water costs 6 bucks. So even the tickets were cheap, the foods and drinks costed each person 20 bucks. I think that is how the park make money.

We went there at noon since the ball game started at 1:30 pm, it was hot but with breeze. For those who want to go there at noon in the following weeks, wearing a T-shirt to the park will be just fine. But if the game is hold at night, I strongly suggest wearing a jacket since the wind over there at night will chill you to the bone.

If you are interested in baseball games, then AT&T Park is absolutely the best place for you to visit in San Francisco.
