Santa Cruz... by Yvonne

    I went to Santa Cruz last Saturday. It’s extremely cold in the morning when we left Berkeley, but the weather became better after noon. We took the pirate boat and a small roller coaster. Taking all those exciting facilities is always a challenge to me as I don’t really like exciting things. However, I didn't want to feel regret afterward, so I pluck up my courage and went on it. Surprisingly, it’s not as scary as I thought, in fact, I enjoied the rides!

    The time we spent on the beach is also wonderful. It’s the first time that I tried beach volleyball and it’s really fun! The sea water was as cold as ice, but the sand was warmed by the sunshine. We took a lot of pictures and had a great time.
