Sandra: I think it's a very special custom here. I didn't know tires of cars have to be parked at 90 degrees on slopes before coming to Berkeley.I think there are too many slopes over here so it becomes an important rule!
Oh, It is the sign that we mentioned at class. I also didn't know they have to park their cars at 90 degrees. But I think many slopes make Lombard Street beautiful :) -Raven
Kate: I think drivers here are masters of parking because of the hills of San Francisco. Very interesting sign, I'm wondering if it's a rule or more like recommendation.
SF is considered as a city of hills and the drivers are genius in parking cars. Probably i can't even park a car in berkeley, since the parking space is too narrow! Yawen
