Last
Saturday, I went to Point Reyes National Seashore which is located on the Point
Reyes Peninsula in Marin County, California with Thai students who are
studying at UC Berkeley. It took us about 2 hours to get there by cars. First,
we had a BBQ party at Tomales Bay which also offered fresh, farmed oysters as
well as clams and mussels. They were really delicious.
After that
we went to Point Reyes, we walked up to the top of the hill to see the beautiful
scenery especially the Point Reyes Lighthouse. Unfortunately, it was really
foggy and windy that day so we could not see anything much but I heard that Point
Reyes was one of the best birdwatching places in the United States, also one of
the best places to watch Northern Elephant Seals. I was very happy to hang out
with many Thai friends there.
